Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition covers the cost of attending Khan Lab School as well as our optional Extended Day (after-school program) activities and clubs that occur from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. each day. Tuition also includes some school supplies, devices such as Chromebooks and iPads, and field trips.

We are pleased to announce that tuition will not increase for the 2022-23 school year.

2022-23 School Year Tuition:

Lower School: $29,950.00
Middle School: $32,600.00
High School: $33,600.00

There is a non-refundable annual fee of $750.

Financial Aid

KLS is dedicated to fostering a school community that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. One way we make this a reality is by providing grant-based financial aid to families who qualify. Our financial aid program is based on a family’s demonstrated need and our available funds. Generally, it is the Financial Aid Committee’s expectation that each student’s parent(s)/guardian(s) currently work.

Financial aid application deadlines:

Prospective families: January 13, 2023
Returning families: January 4, 2023

Financial aid applications received after this date may be considered if funds are still available, as may aid applications for students admitted from our waitpool.

Financial Aid Application Process

The first step in applying for financial aid at KLS is to create an account on SSS. You will use this account to submit your financial aid application and upload all of the required documents. The most important aspect of the application process is meeting the deadlines below. Applying for financial aid requires completing your family's 2021 taxes by the end of February 2022.

Note for divorced or separated parents, or never-married parents living apart: a separate financial aid application must be submitted for each household. We will not share one parent’s financial information with the other.
