This is an update to the Student Council formation and election process article published earlier this Term.

The Student Council elections have reached the end of their campaigning period. During this past week's Upper School Community Meeting, several KLS Student Council candidates shared their prepared speeches over Zoom, marking the end of the campaigning phase for this student-led, student-created election process. Candidates impressed the audience of teachers, staff, and fellow students, with their words. The following students are currently campaigning to serve on Student Council:

  • LT Moderator
    • Nick V
    • Nunu Z
  • Student Advocate
    • Katja F
    • Jay B
    • Krishna K
  • Treasurer
    • Robert B
    • Timothy C
  • Events Manager
    • Adhya K
    • Alisha F
    • Bharat S
    • Mira V
    • Sophie F

All candidates have created written introductions for the student body, designed Zoom backgrounds for publicity, and answered student questions on Zoom during the Community Meeting. Now, the election has moved into the voting period. Students are encouraged to submit their votes here by Friday, October 2, at 4:00 p.m. Stay tuned for future updates about the Student Council!
