The Inquiry Lab

After School Programming

The Inquiry Lab is our new and improved extended day program at Khan Lab School! The Inquiry Lab is intended to provide students with enough independent work time (Goal Time) at school so that they are able to spend time with family and decompress once they go home. The Inquiry Lab offers a myriad of opportunities for students to lead and participate in after the core school day. These consist of teacher-led classes, student-led clubs, and community events. The Inquiry Lab also provides an opportunity for students to do supervised goal work that would traditionally be considered homework. Students who are not in classes, clubs, or community events during The Inquiry Lab programming period are expected to utilize this time to work on their goals and are required to do so for at least the first portion of the after-school program.

If students want to stay after school to participate in Goal Time work, read, participate in student-led clubs, etc., this supervision is included in tuition. If students choose to enroll in teacher-led Inquiry Lab enrichment classes, there is a fee.
